Hi Everybody!
I just got some amazing news! I'm so excited that I just couldn't keep it to myself!
I have talked with GCU and found out that if I can get them $1405 by August 15, 2014, I will be re-enrolled in classes! I've spoken to my dad and my grandmother, and they are both planning, right now, ways to help me get the money! I'm serious!! I may be in classes again withing 6 weeks!
Once I get back in classes, I'm probably going to take one or two classes with them, and then transfer over to Liberty University! And with them, I can get my BS in Early Childhood Education in four years, and get my MAT in Elementary Interdisciplinary Studies as a fifth year option!!!!
I mean, SERIOUSLY!!! I am beyond ecstatic and cannot wait!!
Now that that is behind us, I do have a question for all of you! I will be get my MAT from Liberty, but I want to be able to proudly say that I am a graduate of Auburn University!! I live about an hour and half, possibly two hours from the Auburn campus. So there is no way I can take classes with them except online. The only degree in education that offer online is M.Ed in Elementary Education.
Would it be stupid for me to receive my MAT from Liberty and then turn around and work for an M.Ed from Auburn? Or should I wait and get a Doctorate's degree? I would absolutely LOVE any information/opinions you have to offer!
Thanks so much for reading and leaving your thoughts!!!
